Hi everyone,

Have a client that wants to have 1 or 2 backup lines which may be used to
call out ONLY once or twice a day. Short calls so data consumption is very
low. Basically the internet is an over-kill but it would be cheaper than
two copper lines and copper lines have extra support cost to them that I
want to avoid.

I think this can be a 3G or LTE stick, a wireless Hub with CDMA or GSM
reception, one of those hotspot hubs, or any similar technologies. I know
Bell has the 512Kbps wireless hub for $23+$10 (internet/router rental) but
I am not sure how it performs with VoIP and reception in general. *Something
like that or more conveniently priced would be ideal.* I know there is also
the Rogers data only SIM that is used for tracking and wondering if those
can be used for making the occasional calls?

Usage would probably be around 500MB or less per month.

Thanks
