Having deployed into many bizarre uncontrolled environments, we've been building up a suite of testing tools at Jazinga that are meant to be *relatively* light weight, simple to use, and independent of asterisk.
Two tools I'm releasing today are siptest, which performs test registrations and test calls with audio verification, and detectsipalg (you can test against alg.jazinga.net), which will tell you whether a router has SIP-ALG enabled. I do not yet determine whether that SIP-ALG feature is messing up the packets though. You can get it from github at: https://github.com/jazinga/siptest I'd appreciate feedback, and other common failures you run into that I might write tests for. If you run into issues, please post them to github (click on 'Issues' -> 'create a new issue'), or email me.
