I doubt a cell phone battery can do what you want. Batteries have a
capacity rating in ampere hours, so a 100 AH battery could supply 1 amp
for 100 hours or 2 amps for 50 hours etc. Once you determine your load
requirements, you can then select the appropriate battery. If the
device needs 12V, then you're going to need other batteries than what
comes with a cell phone.
