Apparently, you can configure it to be SIP-Aware. Not sure exactly how they are using that term but those word come from FreeSwitch gurus in #FreeSwitch channel - No I didn't make it up. Digium, OpenSER, FreeSwtich, and everyone else in this industry makes similar claims of having the best product. As continued in my statement they take the IP from from TCP/IP source and not SIP packet - I think that is what they mean by no SIP-Aware.
