Dave,
From my understanding, all the different versions of Asterisk are available in AsteriskNOW through the digium yum repository. I haven't used it in a while, but I was led to believe you could select which versions of Asterisk is installed and FreePBX vs AsteriskGUI.
Probably not a bad move, trying PIAF though - very complete package.

OK, thanks - PIAF has been downloading for a few minutes.
So how do the version numbers for Asterisk and AsteriskNOW relate to each other?

The current version of Asterisk is 1.8.2.3 andthe current version of AsteriskNOW is 1.7.1.Does this mean that AsteriskNOW contains Asterisk 1.6?Why is there /absolutely/ /no/ mention of version numbers onthe AsteriskNOW web page? What I'm looking for is Asterisk 1.8.(something) with a GUI.I can't see any way of discovering whether such a thing exists.Dave
