Tom,

       I see your point.  No, the touch command is not too big to be included
in AstLinux.  I would rather implement that functionality into BusyBox
touch.  It's less maintenance, and it can't be that hard...

Try adding it to the development environment:

svn co http://svn.astlinux.org/astlinux/trunk astlinux-devel
