Hello !
I had never heard about a "DOM" before I red this post.
Actually the only thing I knew were that I have a ratrher strange memory on a HP thin client I use to run Astlinux.
I didn't know that this was a "DOM" so I just insatalled as it were a 2.5 inch hd. (And it was no problems doing that.)
I use it togheter with a usb stick, and it works and performes very nice.
Don't know if this item has some limitation for the number of "read/writes" likes the Flash ram ?
(I can se from some googeling that it is possible to find sizes up to some gigs.)
Anybody who knows ?

So how well do these DOMs work? Are they just as good as CF? Are they easy
to get in DMA capable versions.
