Apparantly SOX is looking for non uclibc libraries:
ldd: can't open cache '/etc/ld.so.cache'
libm.so.6 => not found (0x00000000)
libmad.so.0 => not found (0x00000000)
libc.so.6 => not found (0x00000000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x00000000)
I'm running into the came problem with Cepstral Swift. As it isn't
opensource software, I'm thinking it very unlikely that I'll be able
to use it with AstLinux.
