Hi, Thanks for your reply.
I check the startup scripts, It seems that kernel mode pppoe require /usr/lib/ppp/rp-pppoe.so, which is a pppd plugin. But I can not find such a file in my runtime image. I have to add rp-pppoe package to my astlinux build environment, after some dirty hack on rp-pppoe, finally I got pppoe and rp-pppoe.so for my astlinux runtime. The pppoe now working. The only thing left is the pppd will terminated almost every day and I have to restart the connection manual. maybe I should add a watch-dog like process the restart the pppoe link automatically. Because I also use astlinux as my home VPN router to my office. I also add OpenSWAN package to my astlinux box. It works great. If anyone need it, I can share them.
