Hi Frank, I am using mainly Suse Linux as build host. It works so far.
My USB card reader also appears as /dev/sda. So why don't you "cat astlinux.img > /dev/sda" ? I haven't had issues with /dev/loop. However, I am using a different grub for installing the grub-load into the image. I use grub from a CentOS distro. The Suse default grub loader doesn't work for me... regards, Ingmar Frank Tarczynski wrote: > I've been trying to build a CF image from the astlinux development > environment for my net4801 on a Suse 9.3 box. > > The actual make goes fine but I'm running into trouble building the flash > image and getting it written to a CF card.
