It is important to note that when running from Astlinux you need to edit the the *.conf files in the /stat directory after mounting rw. This will edit the files that are actually on the CF drive. If you try edit the files running in the normal directories associated with Asterisk you will simply be editing files running in RAM. After reboot these files are loaded from the /stat directory so any changed you make in RAM won't stick.
