With only a little experimentation I was sucessful in getting this working. I was not able to use in Flash DOM from some reason. I couldn't physically connect it to another PC to flash it from the Astlinux CD. I ended up using a USB stick with 3 partitions which is quite satisfactory.
I can only see a few advantages over my Net4801; 1. The opportunity to add more RAM if necessary. The basic 256MB RAM is a common SODIMM. 2. Onboard audio capability 3. More CPU power for transcoding to/from G.729 4. More USB ports (4) 5. Available PCI slot. Not needed in my case. Disadvantages 1. Only one NIC. Cannot be used as a router without further effort (USB NIC?) 2. Cannot use PCI slot without removing it from the case. Same as Net4801. 3. Plastic case. 4. No activity lights. 5. Has an on/off switch (less idiot-proof) Michael -- Michael Graves [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sr. Product Specialist www.pixelpower.com Pixel Power Inc.
