I have been following closely the discussion related to integration of
Bluetooth with Astlinux ... I have high hopes that once I figure out how to
make it work, I might be able to get at least one (1) and maybe as many as
four (4) Bluetooth enabled cell phones to provide dial tone/ring to Astlinux
...

is this a reasonable expectation ???

I also have a crazy idea about working out a method that Astlinux can tell
if I am in the office by detecting if my cell phone is in range of the
Bluetooth dongle ... the assuption would be that if the Bluetooth cant see
my cell phone, I must be out of the office and calls should be routed via
dial out to the cell phone ... I have an article saved in my archive that
discusses how to do this and hope to figure out a way to make this work also
...

based on what has been discussed, I have ordered a few (three of the darn
things) Billionton USBBT02-X Bluetooth/USB dongles ... these are listed as
having the CSR chip set which I understand is most easy to make work ...

reality check on this model and chip set ??? anyone else using it ???
should I have gotten something else that would have made my life easier ???
I am stuck with USB as my server is without PCI slots ...

the bluetooth dongles should be here in a week or so ... I am hoping to
benefit from some of you "early adopters" posting your experience here so
maybe I can avoid a few of your mistakes ... so keep that kind of stuff
coming ... I am counting on you ...

and if anyone gets "wild and crazy" and decides to write an idiot proof "how
to", I am just the idiot to try it out on ... if I cant figure out a way to
mess it up, nobody can !!!
