I agree. Sqlite is much friendlier to any embedded system.
However, if MySQL support is really needed, I don't think that it
should be excluded just because of concern with regard to disk writes.
There are some people that will use hard drives (like Erick), or only
use the client support and connect to an instance of mysql on another
system (although one could argue this isn't a good idea). Either way,
it wouldn't hurt to add it the list of available package targets. I'd
do it myself, but there are higher priorities.
