Or in the httpd.conf if you have "prefix" uncommented then you will need....ip:8088/asterisk/static/config/cfgbasic.html
in manager.conf your user needs to have read/write permissions to the "config" variable as well.. so your line may look like
read = abc,def,ghi, you need to make sure that "config" is also a part of that i.e.
read = abc,def,ghi,config
write = <same>.....,config
However, mine caused a segfault in the asterisk system when i went to poll for information so i am steering clear for a little while.

I tried to get this running on a fresh install on Vmware. There is not much documentation. I configured the manager.conf. and http.conf files as per the asterisk-gui readme. I have Asterisk 1.4 running with CLI access. I also have httpd running. Everything is running but the GUI does not come up at the link given after I ran a "check makeconfig". What am I missing. Maybe permission problem?
I like the interface. What do the resulting config files look like?
