only when you need the full keyboard you have to "open" it...
for "normal" operation it can stay in it's protective casing...

haven't seen any devices with one builtin yet...

Hello there

Personally, I don't like clam shell and flip devices because
of wearing of the unit due to unability to put it into a
'protection case' (sorry, don't know how to call it in english).
but, hey, this is only my taste :-)

Do you have a link for a laserlight keyboard addition? I never
saw this hardware here in Brazil. About an external keyboard,
well, they're pricey and another device to carry around

( this is the only drawback I've found on E61 so far, the absence
of 2 megapixel camera :-( )
