I'm trying to build a custom CF card image of Astlinux and need some
help in the final steps.

I'm doing the build under Suse 10.1 under VMware. I've got lots of
experience with Solaris but it's just confusing me here.

The build goes well and then as root I run the makeimage.sh script.

I follow the instructions from script with fdisk. Usually I get an
error 22 or 25 but it doesn't seem to effect things much.

Then I follow the instructions for grub.

But when I get to copying the image to the CF card I need help.

I've got a USB-CF card adapter and the card appears as /dev/sdc. Do I
copy the image to /dev/sdc or /dev/sdc1? Am I supposed to have the
device mounted first?

I keep getting errors that I've run out of space at the very end of the
dd. And my net4801 won't boot from the image but the file structure
seems to be there when I mount the CF card under linux.

Is there a document with some detail for this process?

Thanks,
Frank
