I think it was the power supply gone bad. It started later today just restarting when I wanted to make a call.
Now a new power supply is in place and we'll see how it works out. Been running this soekris and astlinux (with existing power supply) for 1.2 years now. -Jeff -----Original Message----- From: Jeff Owen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, December 06, 2006 11:07 AM To: Discussion of AstLinux - Asterisk on Compact Flash; '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: [Astlinux-users] NET4801 ASTLINUX 0.4.4 Constant Rebooting The weird thing is that ssh worked fine yesterday. The device is even a MIP behind my NetScreen and the only port is SIP 5060 with AGL SIP enabled. I'll have to dig up the cable to go in an see what it says when I log in via console. -Jeff -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Darrick Hartman Sent: Wednesday, December 06, 2006 10:57 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Discussion of AstLinux - Asterisk on Compact Flash Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] NET4801 ASTLINUX 0.4.4 Constant Rebooting Gary G. Sometime after 0.4.4 was released I created a symbolic link to point to /mnt/kd/custom-sounds if it exists. Store all your customized stuff on the keydisk and you won't have such problems. If your device is running out of space, yes weird things can happen. > -----Original Message----- > Subject: [Astlinux-users] NET4801 ASTLINUX 0.4.4 Constant Rebooting > > After several weeks of running AstLinux 0.4.4 it is just started today > rebooting itself every so often. If you changed nothing software wise, I'd look at the hardware including your power source and network devices.
