The file system is read-only for the root, why would it be an issue?

The only concern would be the /mnt/kd mount where voicemail is stored along
with astlinux config files (which could be backed up via the web interface).

Thanks,

Jeff

Subject: [Astlinux-users] UPS Shutdown

Has anybody tackled the problem of doing a graceful shutdown of
AstLinux triggered by a UPS which has tripped to battery power? Is
this even an issue? Does AstLinux easily survive abrupt removal of
power?

If it is an issue, what kind of UPS systems are prevalent? I have a
small APC SmartUPS, myself.

Tom
