Erick,

  My recent trip to Brasil taught me a lot about some of the problems
with R2.  I'm not suprised that it was removed from Zaptel.  From what
most people said, it didn't work that well (or at all).

  The "best" open source R2 stack is unicall, but that has problems
too.  There were several vendors working on solving that problem.
We'll have to see what happens.
