Philip,
"Thank you for working on this Saturday night" would also have been
an acceptable reply....
Obviously you understand regex, why couldn't you have made the patch
yourself? Why complain to the list (using the subject "New breakage
in 1321")? This isn't "New breakage". It's not even an AstLinux
problem. You just have a new version of makeinfo/texinfo that our
version of binutils doesn't know about (yet).
You do realise that both fixes have the exact same result for your problem?
Please keep in mind that I've worked with AstLinux for over three
years and sometimes my patience dealing with ungrateful members of the
"community" can wear pretty thin.
