We're making progress. It's likely that 0.5 will have 1.2. Hopefully this will be released by the end of the month. We have unionfs available as an option when using runnix to load Astlinux. Runnix provides several big advantages over the current setup using grub. I documented some of the install steps on the Astlinux website (www.astlinux.org/) as well as a flowchart showing how runnix operates. Soon after 0.5 is released, 1.4 will be placed in trunk. There are starting to be enough DTMF issues with 1.2 that it's time.
