Kris created the runnix concept. It's been around for well over a year now and has worked well. I'm sure we'll continue to improve that. I think there are some ways we could update it to boot a little faster. I improved the unionfs implementation. So far it seems to work well. It's not as tested in Astlinux as runnix is, but since you really have no way of changing the root password without unionfs, the two pretty much should go together. >> I've been creating some documentation that describes a few new features >> which may make your life easier.
