I brought up this issue a couple of weeks ago, but it seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle.

From the web configuration, a user is allowed to edit rc.conf
IF the user fails to set the filesystem to rw before, one can edit and save the changes, BUT then linux is pissed off about a dirty file system at the next boot.
IF one sets the filesystem to rw, then all is well
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, then is there any way to get a fix into the mix before the next releases? Or has it been fixed for the next releases? After discovering this, I am careful to change to rw, but someone ignorant of the behavior may not, and it requires some effort to correct it.
