No. Everything compiles cleanly on Asterisk with the standard options
selected. Your best bet is to do an rm -rf on the build_i586 directory
then start again clean. If that's still giving you issues, remove the
toolchain_build_i586 directory and the other one as again and start clean.
I'm not having any problems with the system as it is right now in trunk.
I do have problems compiling oslec if I am on my 64bit build system
(building a 32bit image). I have a feeling that oslec is looking for
some information from the host pc that we should explicitly providing
(such as kernel version etc). I'd suggest not using oslec until this is
resolve (at least not on a production system).
