No problem. It's not a major issue since I do most of the work now from PHP 
scripts. Wrong interpretation of dead keys seems to be quite common and 
it's a bit of a pain when working with the SQLite CLI client over SSH, as 
the up arrow is useful to recall past commands and CTRL-C to cancel a command.

This kind of problem doesn't exist with bigger distros like CentOS etc., so 
I guess they must have compiled their apps and/or checked terminfo et al. 
just right when called from a Windows SSH client.
