I've been working on a way to do this...

I write the odd application here myself when I have time, and I like to 
build them into the images, but can't wait for them to be picked up by 
the Asterisk maintainers, us to rev to that version, etc.

Let me go back and stare at what I had going, and see if I can figure 
out what needs to be done to make it generic.
