The "C7" target is not really different than the C3 target right now. It can't really be too different until we bump the kernel. The newer kernels have a specific target for the C7 processor. I have successfully used a C7 based board. I've also had some issues with a different C7 based board, but that may have been the specific flash media I was using at the time too. (it's been several months so I don't recall).
