Continuing my efforts with AstLinux (still on a VMWare machine, but I did
order an ALIX board today!!). I turned on a 2nd network adapter in VMWare
and edited rc.conf to setup an internal interface. It assigned it's own
fixed IP address which made it inaccessible from my host machine, but the
external interface was still reachable.... at least I could get to http
(port 80), but I could not get to https or the asterisk-gui on port 8088.

I'm guessing that a firewall is enabled by default on the external interface
and this is blocking my access. If so, can you point me to the right place
to open up https (443) and 8088 ?

Thanks
David
