I have always gotten that error when trying to run any of the published 
CD's on HP T5000 thin clients
I have yet to try the latest one offered, but either that error or it 
goes so far into the read then fails to any longer be able to read from 
the CD.
Because of the hardware configuration, the CD drive is a USB external.
Previous installs require booting the machine with DSL linux and doing 
the install under DSL.

I haven't yet had time to try the latest offering, but your experience 
doesn't bode well for these little machines.
