Hello All;

First of all thank you for the neat package you've made.

I was playing hard with astlinux during past month to
to complie it with H323 driver support. Here I outline the
ways I have gone through briefly:

- My first option was to use the H323 channel driver which
comes with asterisk. This driver, however, needs some
third-party libraries to compile (i.e. libopenh323 and pwlib).
After putting a considerable time (most of which due to
my limited knowledge of buildroot and buildtools), I could
finally cross-compile these 2 libraries (I was very proud
then). However it turned out that my asterisk crashed when
dialing H323. Before crashing it wrote some garbage
text on CLI, amongst them you could see "pwlib".

- The other option is OH323. Requiring the same
set of libraries I did not see any chance with this driver at
 that moment.

- So I tried OOH323 driver from asterisk-addons which
does not have any particular prerequisite library. The
compilation went well again. However asterisk refused to start.
It was probably due to one of the modules installed by
asterisk-addons. I disabled autoloading of asterisk modules
and loaded the ones I required. Asterisk started now. However
I could not place calls to a cisco device using h323 and got
some ASN1. errors in ooh323 log files.

I know that the information I've provided here are general and
basic for technical help. However before any kind of technical help,
I am interested to know if any effort has been done to include H323
into astlinux by others. Did you succeed or witness the same
problems as me. Astlinux already includes many great pieces of
software out of stock. I think H323 is a must.

Cheers,
Mohsen Moeeni
