Does anyone have a Sangoma A101, etc working with recent AstLinux builds?

I'm trying to use an A102c with trunk (Wanpipe 3.3.12). After
configuring an interface, this is all I get with wanrouter start:

Error: HDLC Core Not Ready (0x8)! seems to be the error.

I'm trying a build with wanpipe 3.3.14 right now but I thought I'd ask...

Any ideas?
