Yes, it can operate in either. I thought I'd be best off familiarizing myself with this card in a traditional Asterisk set-up first, rather than in Astlinux. I did a minimum Debian install from scratch, installed the required dev packages, and then tried to get the Diva card working. This took some time, with a lot of errors on the way. I had no joy in getting any driver downloaded directly from Melware to work. However, the monolithic Diva Server System Release downloaded directly from Dialogic works: http://www.dialogic.com/products/tdm_boards/system_release_software/Diva_for_Linux.htm The main problems this poses for compiling it into Astlinux, I guess, are: 1. The shell script installs a large amountof other bits and pieces (softSS7, softIP, and SIPcontrol) 2. I am unclear as to the licence of this driver - it is possibly (probably?) not redistributable > Follow the instructions on the astlinux.org website to get your dev > environment set up and get familiar with it! I shall try to pursue this, installing the Astlinux dev environment, with a view to compiling a version of Astlinux with the driver in place. Whether this will be of any use to others, because of the licensing, I am not sure, but it will be useful to me.
