Many thanks to Stephen Erisman for putting together the app_notify package for Astlinux.
It works great on my Astlinux 0.6/Asterisk 1.4 test box and is a really fine way to do call notifications without bells or buzzers or callerid boxes. I am working on an agi script implemented in PHP "notify.agi" that should work on any Asterisk machine as I have several out there running Astlinux 0.48/Asterisk 1.2. I'll post it to the list when I get it finalized.
