Anyway, I have documented the steps required using Linux to write the CompactFlash device. I don't know what is being used to run www.astlinux.org but I used HTML that is compatible with the output of that site. I could easily change it to mediawiki or other format if desired. So if anyone else is interested, I can pass it on for posting as a howto or quick start page under the documentation section.
