I personally have been using Industrial DiskOnModule drives (they plug
straight into the IDE header on the motherboard)

Of course the ones in those links are pretty expensive, but you can
usually find them included inside a thin client (Neoware especially) for
pretty cheap.
I actually have a couple extra if anyone is interested. (DOMs as well
as thin clients... hint... they make great AstLinux boxes)
