Honestly very slim.  It will require a binary blob the same as 
codec_g729.so which we've been lobbying for several years.  Basically 
Digium won't do it unless there are enough people from the Astlinux 
community who would use it to justify their resources.

We've made several offers to provide a build environment, but so far, 
it's WAY down on their list if it ever will happen.

I would definitely not hold your breath.  I guess Kevin Fleming is the 
person who needs to be convinced there is a need/demand.  I have not had 
a chance to contact him directly, but had been working through Jared 
Smith and later John Todd.

When I get a chance, I'll write something to Kevin regarding each of 
these binary blobs.  The g729 stuff is the one that burns me the most 
personally because we did gather a fairly significant number of 
signatures several years back and I personally bought several license to 
be used with Astlinux when they did provide the binary for Asterisk 1.2. 
  So obviously, they CAN do it, but are currently choosing not to for 
one reason or another.  The chan_skype stuff looks interesting (as does 
the fax stuff to a lesser degree for me).
