Hi Jaime, You can build a custom image that include mysql-client and php-mysql however it would be bigger than the ordinary image. But you can also skip what you don't need.
Also you can get a xml / text file created on the db side and import it via curl maybe? http://www.astlinux.org/node/24 The documentation is your guide if you decide to build your own image.
