Damn computers.
Do what I meant, NOT what I typed!

That was a real dumb mistake. Thanks! It obviously works just fine now.

Tom,

Try using "mypbx.zapto.org" instead of "[email protected]" for the hostname.

I am having trouble configuring astlinux-0.6.7 to use a dynamic dns update service. I have tried both DynDNS and No-IP, with very similar (negative) results. These are the (sanitized) log entries when using No-IP:

Oct 3 20:20:30 pbx user.warn INADYN[2925]: I:INADYN: IP address for alias '[email protected]' needs update to 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' Oct 3 20:20:30 pbx user.warn INADYN[2925]: W:INADYN: Error validating DYNDNS svr answer. Check usr,pass,hostname,abuse...! Oct 3 20:20:30 pbx user.warn INADYN[2925]: W:INADYN: DYNDNS Server response: HTTP/1.1 200 OK^M Date: Sun, 04 Oct 2009 00:20:30 GMT^M Server: Apache/2^M Content-Location: update.php^M Vary: negotiate^M TCN: choice^M X-Powered-By: PHP/5.1.6^M Content-Length: 6^M Connection: Oct 3 20:20:30 pbx user.warn INADYN[2925]: W:'RC_DYNDNS_RSP_NOTOK' (0x48) updating the IPs. Also, the following is a sanitized version of /etc/inadyn.conf:
-u myuserid -p mypasswd --ip_server_name getip.krisk.org / -- dyndns_system [email protected] -a [email protected] --syslog -- change_persona 65535:65535 --background

I do not believe I have a problem with the userid/password, because I can login to my account at no-ip or dyndns with the information present in inadyn.conf. Any ideas what is going on?
