I have a Dell Latitude X1 fanless laptop that I want to use for my next Asterisk server, using Astlinux. It has a hard drive in it, which I will eventually replace with a CF card (but not yet). (The laptop also has a built in CF card slot. But the bios doesn't allow the CF card to be bootable, unfortunately). The bios does allow the laptop to boot off a USB drive, however. So I would like to install Astlinux on a USB drive, which I will use to boot and run Astlinux and for storage. Do I need to follow any procedure different from doing a CF install?
