There are some better ones, even ones that integrate into your main dialer and 
use the wifi when detected, I agree fring is aweful. 
 
The only stipulation though with the iphone is youll need to have it jailbroken 
to install the good voip apps. 
 
All in all its a solid little phone :) The nokias are nice but as there running 
symbian so there is so little you can do with them in comparison.

Nah. I got Fring, but having to have the application open makes this totally 
unusable, I reckon. Certainly not transparent to users.
