Hi Joao /etc/misdn-init.conf should be a symlink. Here is one of my boxes:
ingrampbx ~ # ls -l /etc | grep misdn-init.conf$ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 Apr 8 11:59 misdn-init.conf -> /tmp/etc/misdn-init.conf If it is not, recreate the symlink (making sure you save any config which you might have put into /etc/misdn-init.conf first). /mnt/kd/misdn.init.conf should then be used automatically. See this section on the wiki about how all these files and links work (this documentation is specific to Asterisk configuration, but holds true for other files as well - documenters, I think we need to clarify this once more, as there is still uncertainty): http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:asterisk-config Hope this helps Tom > -----Original Message----- > From: João Correia [mailto:joao.corr...@gmail.com] > Sent: 13 April 2010 10:44 > To: AstLinux Users Mailing List > Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] misdn-init.conf being overwritten > > Hello Michael, > > I copied to /mnt/kd but still the file being loaded is > /etc/misnd-init.conf. > Im running out of ideas. > > Any tip ? > > Thanks > Joao > > > > > On Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 6:38 PM, Michael Keuter > <li...@mksolutions.info> wrote: > >>Hello, > >> > >>I dont know what else to do, every time I reboot AstLinux (on CF > >>Soekris) my misdn-init is overwritten with pmtp and my line is ptp. > >> > >>I open CF write permissions and still it gets overwritten. > >> > >>Any ideas ? > >>Joao > > > > Put your misdn-init.conf on "/mnt/kd/", then this will be used. > > > > Michael > > > > http://www.mksolutions.info > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > -------- Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new > > software tools for yourself.
