I found sqlite3 on the web, but how would I compile it in astlinux?
I'm very familiar with the standard method: ./configure, make , make
install, etc...

Eric,
We currently do not include mysql (client or server support. It may be
possible to add the client in the future, but I don't ever see us adding
the server portion. We do have sqlite3 working. It's not included in
the default build, but it will build if you wanted to build your own image.
