Mark, I see what you are saying now. "upgrade-run-image" could be psudo-replicated by downloading the run image, (ex. net5501)
http://mirror.astlinux.org/firmware/net5501/astlinux-0.7.2.tar.gz and placing the contents into the directory "/oldroot/cdrom/os/", then $ echo "astlinux-0.7.2" > /oldroot/cdrom/os/ver If you have a spare CF card, starting from scratch with the astlinux-0.7.2-asterisk14.img.gz image may not be a bad idea, then carefully copy over your relevant previous /mnt/kd/ files. Either way will work.
