Hello and thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm testing 0.7.2 on this mainboard, but the built-in NIC doesn't want to work.

I've tried all I can think of, including disabling unnecessary on-board
hardware (minimizing IRQ conflicts), commenting out all other modules,
manually unloading all NIC drivers then loading r8169, etc.

Of course, all works if I plug in a different PCI NIC.

Is this probably a kernel/driver version issue? It wouldn't be the firt
time I ran into such with Intel M-ITX mainboards...I keep telling myself
that I won't buy any more, but they are sooo inexpensive and I have always
appreciated the stability of Intel Desktop and Server boards...

Might this issue be fixed readily if I set up a build environment and
updated that particular r8169 driver? Or if I built an image that included
the (deprecated?) r8168 driver?

Thanks,

G
