Shamus, Please re-read my post.
If you looked at the generated /etc/rc.conf you will find two ADNAME occurrences... -- $ grep ADNAME /etc/rc.conf ADNAME="AstLinux PBX" ADNAME="" -- The latter supersedes the former. If you define ADNAME in your user.conf as I stated, you will have three occurrences, the user.conf will supersede all others. If you do enable this, be sure this AstLinux box is behind another router to block the mDNS broadcasts.
