David, Use the web interface. On the network tab, there is a section for Outbound SMTP relay. If you are using an internal Exchange server, all you should need to do is enter the IP address (or dns name) of the Exchange Server, smtp domain and perhaps the port (if you are using a non-standard port. Also make sure your AstLinux device is allowed to relay email on the Exchange server.
After you've made those config changes, reboot your AstLinux device and everything should work as you'd expect. No need to modify anything from the defaults.
