Lonnie,

I didn't have double quotes around the parameter, which I have since added, but
it didn't help (still have the echo). After examining the console output from
my Soekris box during bootup, it looks like oslec is loading:

----------------------------------------------------------
dahdi_echocan_oslec: Registered echo canceler 'OSLEC'
dahdi: Registered tone zone 0 (United States / North America)
wanpipe1: Open (usecount=1, channo=1, chanpos=1)...

wanpipe1: Open (usecount=1, channo=3, chanpos=3)...
wanpipe1: Open (usecount=1, channo=4, chanpos=4)...
----------------------------------------------------------

I also see that the Sangoma board has a h/w ec module, which is erroring out:

----------------------------------------------------------
--> Loading ec image OCT6116-64S.ima...
wanpipe1: Clear Echo Canceller chip reset.
wanpipe1: Module 1: FXO Line is disconnected!

sh: wan_ec_clienwanpipe1: Set Echo Canceller chip reset.
t: command not found
--> Error: system command: wan_ec_client wanpipe1 be all
wanconfig: Failed to Bypass enable EC device wanpipe1 (err=127)!

wanconfig: HWEC configuration failed on wag1

Please check /var/log/wanrouter and
/var/log/messages for errors.

Configuring interfaces: wag1
done.
----------------------------------------------------------

I will contact Sangoma to diagnose error 127, but would the hardware EC affect
the operation of oslec?

I also found some other problems with the firewall while investigating this
issue. I will post that info to a separate thread. Thanks again for all your
help.

-tm

Tom,

Maybe you have a typo, the user.conf via the web interface should contain:
--
DAHDIMODS="dahdi_echocan_oslec"
--
