If you are using Asterisk 1.8 then fax detection is enabled by default (will
branch to extension 'fax' in the dialplan context). If you are using
Asterisk 1.4 then you need NVFaxDetect or NVBackgroundDetect. These are
available in the AstLinux source tree but not compiled into the default
distribution, so you need to make your own build.
