Sarv,

Darrick's release notes mentioned it, but we have different firmware
repositories for Asterisk 1.4 and Asterisk 1.8:

Asterisk 1.4
--
Repository URL: http://mirror.astlinux.org/firmware
--

Asterisk 1.8
--
Repository URL: http://mirror.astlinux.org/ast18-firmware
--

In the Prefs Tab, System & Staff Tab Options, see the "Repository URL:" entry,
set it to "http://mirror.astlinux.org/ast18-firmware"; for Asterisk 1.8
(Save/Apply Preferences).

Note: In the System tab, System Firmware Upgrade section you are reminded of
the current "Repository URL:"

That should do it.

Lonnie

PS: Tip, after doing the above you will have to "Revert to Previous" under the
System Firmware Upgrade section, Reboot, then "Upgrade with New" to get the
Asterisk 1.8, 0.7.9 version. You may skip the Reboot if your box has 256MB or
more RAM.
